In education, engineering and robotics bridge the gap between computer science, hands-on design, and STEM frameworks. Starting in early elementary (K–2), students use directional floor robots to grasp mechanical movement and algorithmic thinking. Moving into upper elementary and middle school (3rd–8th grade), students put coding into action by programming, monitoring, and controlling their physical creations using external sensors, motors, levers, gears, and electrical circuits. By high school (9th–12th grade), this provides essential practical grounding for advanced computer science, engineering, and CTE (Career & Technical Education) pathways—utilizing CAD modeling and embedded microcontrollers.
